How to use this site

From the Home page you can access information about the NRS. The background of the NRS can be found in Theoretical Underpinnings. Information on WELL, The Workplace Communication in Training Packages Project and using the National Reporting System for the Literacy and Numeracy Training Programme is also available from the Home page.

To use the NRS online, select The NRS.

If you are looking for specific information within the NRS then select the Express Route. If you are new to the NRS online, use the New Users Guide. How to navigate this site

Each page has a "map". These "maps" have legs and nodes. The nodes are clickable and take you to the sections within the site. On information pages the "maps" are at the top of the page. The legs connect the nodes and show you the path used to get to the page you are on. You can use them to navigate back through the path you have used.

Clicking on the Home node takes you to the Home page.

Browsers

The NRS online is best viewed using Netscape Navigator version 3.0 or higher or Internet Explorer version 3.0 or higher. The site is functional using earlier browsers, although some features such as the pop up glossary and reference windows (available from theoretical underpinnings) may not work.

If your browser does not support JavaScript the glossary, references and acknowledgements can be accessed using the text links at the bottom of the page where relevant.

Your web browser must support HTML tables to use the NRS online.
