This course, using the Certificate of Spoken and Written English 4B Curriculum, is part of the recurrent program offered at a large metropolitan Institute of TAFE. The course is conducted from a campus of the Institute located in the northern suburbs which services a community with a large percentage of the population coming from language backgrounds other than English. The area also has a very high unemployment problem and declining job market due to the closure of light manufacturing plants. |
